2016 Job Fair Information

ATP Job Fair Update!

As always, Alaska-focused Job Fairs will be held in March, April and May, 2016. The largest event ATP hosts is traditionally the Alaska Educator Expo (Anchorage Job Fair), and will be held on Friday, March 18, and Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Anchorage, Alaska. The ATP Job Fair will be held once again at the Hotel Captain Cook.

ATP will also host Lower 48 Job Fairs in 2016:

  •  Seattle, Washington  - Friday, March 25, 2016
  •  Portland, Oregon - Wednesday, April 6, 2016
  •  Austin, Texas - Tuesday, May 10, 2016 - New!

District annual ATP Services Agreements are sent out in November each year in to HR contacts. Email Anjali if you are not sure if your district has renewed its registration. Links to the ATP online Employer Job Fair Registration forms for employers for the 2016 cycle will be sent out before the winter break by ATP staff to HR contacts.

For full details on the 2016 Job Fairs,  including the live candidate registration forms, please see the ATP Job Fair page.

ATP's Live Chats are online video presentations with special guests who take questions by text chat. Participants log in and watch the live video of the presenter and interact via a chat window by using the Live Chat Page. Our special guests are working professionals from our staff, and both the Alaska Statewide Mentorship Program (ASMP), and the Alaska Department of Education (DEED).

Virtual Job Fairs use the same interactive interface to bring one or more school districts and their representatives, live, to participants who can interact via a chat window. Many working relationships between educators and administrators have been forged during ATP Virtual Job Fairs, and have even been known to lead to job offers. ATP staff provide technical help online and via audio.
