Costco with Bush Shipping

This is the new version of the Alaska Teacher Placement (ATP) forum for teachers, education majors, and school administrators to discuss working and living in the state of Alaska. Those considering an Alaskan job, or considering a new Alaskan education job ask questions, and those with information and/or opinions provide answers. Although many users are teacher or principal candidates from the Lower 48, a large number of current and former school district HR and school administrators subscribe.

Trying to figure out if it is worth it to redo my Costco membership. Do either of the Costcos in Anchorage do bush shipping?

They both do, but it is with a third party company. Both Sam's Clubs do so as well, also with a third party shipping company.

Walmart dot com ships to most areas for free over $49. Just something to look into... there isn't much that they don't have.

Walmart is a good company for food... but the shipping can take a few months depending on how they ship.

Since school got out we've been getting Walmart orders in a week. We've been amazed.
